Got a question about your Glowcose Light? Below are quick answers to the most common setup and usage questions.

How do I change the brightness?

Press the button on the back of the Glowcose Light to cycle through five brightness levels.

How many colours can the Glowcose Light display?

Red means low. Green is in range. Purple means high.

The Glowcose Light uses addressable RGB lighting, allowing it to display smooth colour transitions between glucose ranges, including shades of orange and yellow.

Can I use more than one Glowcose Light?

Yes. Multiple Glowcose Lights can connect to the same account and be used in different rooms or locations.

Is it compatible with my CGM?

Glowcose works with Dexcom G6, Dexcom G7, FreeStyle Libre 2, FreeStyle Libre 3, and Nightscout. Medtronic 

How often does the colour update?

The Glowcose Light updates approximately every 2 minutes using the latest CGM reading available from the cloud.

How do I reset my Glowcose Light?

  1. Unplug the USB cable.
  2. Hold the brightness button down on the back of the light.
  3. While holding the button in, reconnect the USB cable.
  4. Keep holding until the light turns red 3 times (3 red flashes).
  5. Let go of your finger and that is the light fully factory reset.

This resets the Glowcose Light to factory settings.

Will it remember my WiFi settings?

Yes. The Glowcose Light automatically reconnects to your saved WiFi network after being unplugged.

Cannot connect to the Glowcose WiFi?

Connect to the Glowcose WiFi network, then open a browser and go to:

192.168.4.1

This will open the setup page.

!Why does my light pulse yellow colour?

This usually means the Device Connection code is incorrect.

Visit www.glowcose.io to check your code.
